More pleasant weather to come on Sunday

Updated: February 22, 2020 11:17 PM

Expect more puddles and potholes everywhere you go as the state continues to thaw on Sunday.

KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan said we can expect a high of 44 degrees and plenty of sunshine Sunday in the Twin Cities.

There will be some patchy morning fog, particularly in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin around the St. Croix River Valley, but Ryan said that should dissipate by around 9 a.m.

Temperatures will be slightly lower heading into Monday, when the high will be in the mid-30s, and then on Tuesday and Wednesday we start to see chances for some light snow — between 1 and 3 inches.
