A Minneapolis spokesperson said as of Friday afternoon, nearly 850 cars had been towed in the city's snow emergency.

On the first day of the snow emergency, 846 cars were towed and 3,481 tickets were issued, the spokesperson said.

Minneapolis' snow emergency is in effect through 8 p.m. Friday. All vehicles are towed to the Minneapolis Impound Lot, 51 Colfax Ave. N. It's open 24 hours a day during snow emergencies.
