It's cold and snowy outside, but Minnesota Twins Spring Training gets underway in just over two months.
The Twins said single-game tickets for 2020 Spring Training went on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The 2020 Spring Training season will be the Twins' 30th at the CenturyLink Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Florida. Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Feb. 12 with the full squad set to begin workouts on Feb. 17.
The team will host the University of Minnesota for an exhibition game on Feb. 21 with the official Grapefruit League home opener set for Feb. 23 against Toronto.
The Twins will play a total of 17 home games at Hammond Stadium during Spring Training.
Promotional events during Spring Training include "Minnesota Day," collective pin giveaways, Fireworks Night, Senior Day specials, and "Salute to Service" games.
The club is scheduled to play a total of 33 games during Spring Training with the final game on March 23.
The team is hoping to build off its success this past season, during which it won 101 games and the American League Central Division title before getting swept by the New York Yankees in the American League Divisional Series of the playoffs.
The Twins will open the regular season on March 26 in Oakland and with Minnesota's home opener scheduled for April 2, also against Oakland.
