You may occasionally see eagles flying above us but one special center in Wabasha brings the birds down to earth.
The National Eagle Center allows visitors to get a unique perspective of the majestic bird.
"We're one-of-a-kind in the sense that we are the only national eagle center in the United States," Ed Hahn, with the National Eagle Center, said.
Originally started by a group of bird-watchers, the National Eagle Center dates back three decades.
"We get anywhere between 70,000 to 80,000 visitors through our doors annually," Hahn said. "They come from all over the world."
The once-endangered species is back flying high again. You can learn more about the bird at the National Eagle Center.
