Finally some good news coming out of the Minnesota state government: The budget, which was once in a dire spot, appears to be looking better.

The Walz administration announced the state now has a $641 million projected surplus. It was only a few months ago when the same administration said there was a $2.4 billion deficit. Officials say the improvement comes from increases in expected tax revenue.

Meanwhile, Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer details his thoughts on whether or not President Trump should concede the election — and what the Republican Congressman’s political future might hold.

Our political analysts tackle the state budget and the continued response to the coronavirus pandemic.

We’re also joined by special guests from the Twins Diamond Awards who explain why the ceremony is so important – and who ultimately benefits.
