Previous Experience

Paul was most recently the evening news anchor at KOCO in Oklahoma City. Prior to KOCO, he was at WTEV in Jacksonville where he was weekday morning and noon anchor. He has worked as a reporter at KDAF in Dallas; a weekend anchor/weekday reporter for WCTI in New Bern, North Carolina; and News Bureau Chief for WHSV in Harrisonburg, VA.

Awards & Memorable Interviews

Paul has covered unforgettable breaking news events like an EF-5 tornado in 2013 that devastated an Oklahoma City suburb. He’s traveled with Marines in support of a Space Shuttle launch at Cape Canaveral and was also honored to travel with World War II Veterans on an Honor Flight to visit their Memorial in Washington, DC. He co-anchored 2009 blizzard coverage that won a Murrow Award.

Personal Interests

Paul grew up in North Carolina and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Asheville. Years ago, Paul lived and worked a summer job at a needle factory in Germany and then backpacked all over Europe. He also traveled America living in a VW Van. He loves the outdoors and enjoys cycling, running and swimming. A car guy, Paul likes German cars and appreciates American Muscle Cars. He also enjoys cool restaurant scenes and meeting new people.
