Students who attend Normandale Hills Elementary may not have been in class Wednesday but they received a message from their teachers and school staff.

“This is what I’m realizing, a school is not a school without kids,” music teacher Jeff Zupfer said. “Without you guys. We need you. You guys are Normandale Hills.”

Through video, teachers, staff and administration shared words of encouragement and inspiration to their students.

At the end of the video, teachers tell the kids, “You belong. You matter. Keep learning!”
