For the first time ever, the Stillwater Lift Bridge was lit up for the holiday season.

The city launched a campaign to decorate downtown and its historic bridge, putting in $50,000 and raising another $100,000 for lights to be put up around downtown.

The bridge has been closed to vehicle traffic but has become a popular pedestrian and biking trail.
