Irish celebrations already underway

Some in the metro area got a head start celebrating Irish heritage.

On Sunday, the Saint Patrick's Association of St. Paul hosted a party to kick off the season a bit early.

The group dropped by The Waters of Highland Park with the royalty to celebrate.

St. Patrick's Day is next Tuesday.

An annual parade is expected to make its way through downtown St. Paul at noon on St. Patrick's Day.
