4-H, Master Gardener programs react to State Fair cancellation

Among the many impacted by the Minnesota State Fair's cancellation are two from University of Minnesota Extension: Minnesota 4-H and the Master Gardener program.

Each year, thousands of fairgoers visit the 4-H building where Minnesota youth show off their work.


There are contests each year as kids educate the public on what they've learned.

At last year's fair, you could also see nearly 3,000 animals.

The 4-H director said they plan to continue offering online opportunities into the future.
