1-year-old girl seriously injured in rollover crash on I-94 in Douglas County

A 1-year-old girl is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries from a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in rural Douglas County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 4:46 p.m. a Chevy Tahoe was headed eastbound on Interstate 94 in Orange Township, Minnesota, when a tire blew out, causing the vehicle to lose control. The Tahoe slid off the right side of the road and rolled into the ditch.

The driver, Marcus Pierre McCuin, 38, of Plymouth, was unharmed, but a 1-year-old girl, Princes McCuin, was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
