Fall has officially started in the Twin Cities, but the weather for Wednesday is expected to be in the 80s, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.

Wednesday is expected to be sunny and warm before a cool front moves through overnight, said Dahl.

Thursday is expected to be sunny and partly cloudy with a high of 75 degrees and a low of 58 degrees.

Friday is likely to warm back up into the 80s for the high with mostly sunny skies.

For the weekend, some strong thunderstorms are expected in the northern portion of Minnesota.
