According to the National Weather Service, the arrival of temperatures in the 70s is "well ahead of the 30 year average of April 8th."

The warm weather, however, will be short-lived.

Temperatures are expected to drop in the low 40s again Monday evening. Similar temperatures will then be expected through the day Tuesday.

Temperatures will remain around the 40-degree mark again Wednesday before rising again Thursday.
