Timberwolves partner with Excel Sports Management to lead search for next jersey patch sponsor

Monday, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced a partnership with Excel Sports Management to expand the team’s search for its next jersey patch sponsor.

The partnership will find a sponsor to replace Fitbit, whose deal with the Wolves expired this year.

The jersey patch provides a global stage for a Timberwolves partner as NBA games are broadcast in 215 countries and has the largest social following amongst all sports leagues. The new Timberwolves jersey patch partner will be announced prior to the 2020-21 NBA season.
