Saunders discussed how close Rubio is to returning, forward Jarred Vanderbilt and guard D’Angelo Russell’s defense against the Atlanta Hawks, how the guys who are being held out for health and protocol reasons are holding up, how he can get his team to have more balanced scoring from the big men and guards, and explained if Jake Layman will get more playing time.

Russell talked about having patience when building team chemistry, how he feels the team is bonding, if he feels like the team’s defense is improving, and how to get more points off turnovers.
