The Rox, Willmar Stingers, Rochester Honkers, Mankato MoonDogs and Waterloo Bucks will make up a pod that will play from July 1-August 20, with the team with the best winning percentage winning the championship.

The Rox will open on the road in Willmar next Wednesday, before returning for their home opener at Joe Faber Field against Rochester on Thursday.

The roster features 12 returning players from the 2019 Rox squad that won over 40 games and claimed the second half championship of the Great Plains West Division. Last season's Rox MVP Jordan Barth (Augustana), a Rocori High School graduate, comes back for his second season with the team.

Five Gophers will play for the Rox: RHP Will Anderson, OF Sam Ireland, C Cody Kelly, C Jack Kelly, and RHP Trent Schoeberl.
