Minnesota Wild cut hours, furlough some employees

The Minnesota Wild have cut some employees hours and furloughed others due to the impact of COVID-19.

According to a statement from the team, the Wild made the decision to cut hours and temporarily furlough some employees Wednesday. The decision will go into effect on June 20.

The statement says the reason for the decision is the revenue impacts COVID-19 has brought on the business.

"We look forward to bringing our full team and the NHL’s best fans back together again as soon as it is safe to do so," the statement says.
