Minnesota Lynx head coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve announced Thursday that the team has activated guard Odyssey Sims.

In a subsequent move, the team also waived forward Megan Huff. Per WNBA protocol, Sims will continue her mandatory quarantine on the campus of IMG Academy before rejoining the team. Following her quarantine and continued negative COVID-19 tests, she will serve her two-game suspension beginning with Sunday's game at Los Angeles.

Sims enters the 2020 season following her first season in Minnesota by leading the Lynx in scoring and assists. She was named to the All-WNBA Second Team on Oct. 6, the first such honor of her six-year career.

The Irving, Texas native started all 34 games in 2019 and ranked 14th in the league in scoring (14.5 ppg), fourth in assists (career-high 5.4 apg), 12th in steals (1.35 spg) and seventh in minutes played (31.9 mpg).

Sims' 185 total assists stand as the fourth-highest single-season total in franchise history and the most since Lindsay Whalen dished out 189 in 2014.
