Homer hankies arrive in time for Twins postseason

At least one fan tradition is back for the Twins postseason. The 2020 homer hankie was delivered to the pro shop at Target Field Monday afternoon.

This year’s design is a throwback to the magical seasons of 1987 and 1991. The hankies will go on sale at multiple locations Tuesday morning.

"We have home-field advantage and we want our fans to grab a tangible part of Twins baseball and join us from their homes. Nothing beats a crowd here, but knowing people will be waving them on from home, that’s special to our organization and our players," said Minnesota Twins spokesperson Matt Hodson.

If the Twins make it past their first series, the organization is planning some potential game-watch events on the jumbotron at Target Field for a limited number of fans.
