The Minnesota Twins have released its playoff roster for the wild card round of the postseason, where the club will play the Houston Astros in a best-of-three series at Target Field.

Josh Donaldson, however, is not on the active roster ahead of Tuesday's series-opening game.

Donaldson left Friday's game with a cramp in his right calf, which caused him to miss 30 games earlier this season. While he was included on the team's taxi squad, it doesn't appear he'll play in the series against Houston. If the Twins advance past the wild card round, it's possible Donaldson could be activated for the next round.

The good news, however, is Byron Buxton, who also left Friday's game after getting hit in the head by a pitch, is active and it appears he'll start Tuesday's game.

Some other notables from the roster include pitcher Rich Hill being left off the active roster, although he pitched Sunday's season finale; four catchers on the Twins roster; Randy Dobnak is on the active roster for the series; top prospect Alex Kirilloff is on the active roster. Twins director of communications, Dustin Morse, said Kirilloff would be the first Twins player to make his major league debut in the postseason if he plays this series.
