Boys State Basketball: Shakopee beats Owatonna 62-49 and advances to the Class 4A semifinals

Shakopee's balanced attacked proved to be more than enough as the Sabers beat Owatonna 62-49 in the Class 4A quarterfinals on Wednesday night in Hastings. Shakopee was paced by junior guard Cade McGraw who led the way with 17 points.

Shakopee's offense spread the wealth around all night long, Cade McGraw, Nick Katona, Sam West, and Mick Wherley all scored in double figures. Owatonna couldn't slow the Sabers down as Shakopee advances to the semifinals.

With the win, Shakopee will face Wayzata on April 8th at Target Center, game time is set for 8:00 pm.
