Chaska girls hoops dominate Bloomington Kennedy

The Chaska Hawks girls basketball team defeated the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles 75-11, Saturday afternoon at Chaska High School.


Chaska led from wire-to-wire. Chaska is led by sophomore guard Kennedy Sanders and junior forward Mallory Heyer. Those two did not disappoint in this game. They both controlled the game on both sides of the ball.

Hawks also had big games from senior captain Kaylee Van Eps and junior forward Kendall Karrmann. The Hawks jumped out to a 28-6 lead, extending the score to 45-8 at halftime. 

In the second half, the Chaska defense dominated, allowing only three points in the whole half. Chaska is now 2-0 on the season.
