The Minnesota State Patrol responded to 68 crashes between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m Wednesday — 10 of which involved injuries that were not life-threatening.

Another 65 vehicles slid off the road or spun out and required towing assistance amid snowy and icy conditions.

The State Patrol reported 175 crashes and nearly 200 spinouts Tuesday night through Wednesday morning statewide, two of which were reported to be fatal.
