Victim identified from fatal Minneapolis shooting as 38-year-old David Marlon Anre Spicer

The victim who was killed on Thursday from a shooting in Minneapolis has been identified as David Marlon Anre Spicer, 38, from Minneapolis, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

On Saturday, the medical examiner stated Spicer died from a gunshot wound to the torso.

According to police, officers were called around 10 p.m. Thursday to the 400 block of 33rd Avenue North on a shooting report.

1 killed, 1 arrested after late-night shooting in Minneapolis

When officers arrived, they found Spicer inside of a home who suffered a gunshot wound. Spicer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation at the scene, another man was taken into custody. Police say a gun was located at the scene.
