Authorities say a 15-year-old boy was injured Wednesday afternoon after a dirt bike crash in Stearns County.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called just after 4:15 p.m. to the area of County Road 17 and 155th Avenue on the report of a dirt bike crash.

An initial investigation found the teen was riding a dirt bike on County Road 17 when the bike's wheel locked up, causing the teen to lose control.

The boy suffered minor injuries. The sheriff's office says he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
