Minnesota United to host winter supply drive this weekend

The drive benefits Open Hands Midway.

Anyone interesting in donating can drop off items that are new or gently used or items like bottled water, non-perishable snacks and other essential items. BODYARMOUR is also donating 600 bottles to Open Hands Midway.

Those who donate will receive 10% off a purchase at the team store, Minnesota United said.

Some ideas for donations include:

• Waterproof winter gloves.
• Wool socks.
• Coats/sweaters.
• Hats.
• Ponchos.
• Hand warmers.
• Long underwear.
• Sleeping bags.
• Backpacks.
• Bottled water.
• Non-perishable snacks.
• Paper towel and toilet paper.
• Feminine care products.
• Wet wipes.
