Minnesota Lottery announces record sales for 3rd consecutive year

The Minnesota Lottery on Wednesday announced record sales for the third year in a row.

Fiscal year 2020 saw $668.6 million in sales with $156 million returned to the state, lottery officials said.

"All Minnesotans benefit from Lottery proceeds," said Lottery Executive Director Adam Prock. "From state services that protect and support Minnesotans to environmental projects that protect our environment and give more Minnesotans the opportunity to connect with nature, Lottery proceeds help make Minnesota an even better place to live."

The Minnesota Lottery said it has returned $3.3 billion to the state since its inception.
