Midtown Eye Clinic to reopen in Midtown Global Market after original location destroyed during civil unrest

Midtown Eye Care, a community service provider that was destroyed during the civil unrest after George Floyd’s death in May, is relocating to Midtown Global Market.

It is expected to open for business in early September.

The original location was located a block away from Midtown Global Market at 29th Street and Chicago Avenue in south Minneapolis. The building was broken into and ultimately demolished to rubble.

According to a news release, the new Midtown Eye Clinic will provide comprehensive eye care, services and products for all ages. The 1,000 square-foot clinic will be located on the 10th Avenue side of the Midtown Exchange building as part of the Midtown Global Market.
