Police say a pedestrian who was struck in a two-vehicle crash Thursday in Crystal has died.

According to the Crystal Police Department, the crash happened just after noon on the 5300 block of 36th Avenue North, near Highway 100.

One of the vehicles in the crash hit the male pedestrian and an onlooker attempted life-saving measures. However, the victim died at the hospital, police said.

Early investigation into the crash indicates that distraction may have been a factor.
