UPDATE: A Wisconsin man has died after the semi-truck he was in crashed while traveling on Interstate 94 in Silver Creek Township on Monday night.

A Minnesota State Patrol crash report states the 1999 Peterbilt semi-truck was headed east on I-94 when it left the highway and rolled into the ditch near milepost 186.

According to the crash report, the driver — identified as 53-year-old Ronald William Biggerstaff, of Antigo, Wis. — died. The report states he wasn't wearing a seat belt when the crash happened.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Silver Creek Township on Monday night.

The crash happened on Interstate 94, east of County Road 8.

Emergency personnel were seen at the scene shortly before 9:30 p.m.

No other details were immediately available.
