Police in St. Paul say a car ended up in Como Lake sometime overnight into Wednesday morning.

According to St. Paul Police, Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol checked the car and didn't find any occupants.

About an hour before being called to the car in the lake, police said officers assisted St. Paul Fire in helping a person at Como Lake Boulevard and Maryland Avenue who was soaking wet. Evidence later connected that person to the car in the lake.

Police said the person was uncooperative with officers and medics, and was taken to a hospital for evaluation, although no serious injuries were reported.
