Bloomington man killed in Dunn County crash

A Bloomington man died Monday after an early-morning crash in Dunn County, Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said the crash happened at about 3:56 a.m. on Interstate 94 near mile marker 55, not far from Elk Mound.

Authorities said a 2008 Dodge Durango was westbound on I-94 when the driver lost control and the Dodge rolled into the ditch.

The passenger, identified as 35-year-old Magdaleno Enriquez Torres, was killed in the crash. The State Patrol said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Raul Chiman-Arce, of Minneapolis, wasn’t injured.

According to the State Patrol, Chiman-Arce was arrested for not having a valid license at the time.

The crash remains under investigation.
