Two people were injured in a shooting in Brooklyn Park Monday night.

According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, officers responded to the 6300 block of County Road 81 on the report of a shooting at 7:21 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, they located a vehicle with victims who suffered gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. 

Initial investigation reveals that the victims believe they were being followed by the suspects. The suspects then began firing at the victim's vehicle. 

The suspects then fled the scene. 

This does not appear to be a random incident, according to police.

This incident is under investigation.
