An organization called Cradle of Hope is making sure new mothers keep their babies safe.

Tuesdays from 2-3 p.m., the organization is hosting a free crib safety class in Roseville.

The goal is to provide financial aid to women and babies in crisis.

"These practices will help lower the risk of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) and prevent accidental suffocation and strangulation while in bed," Darlene Kopesky, Cradle of Hope executive director, said.
