UPDATE: Hwy 36 eastbound lanes closure in Little Canada, Pine Springs postponed

UPDATE: The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) reports a closure along Highway 36 from Highway 61 to Interstate 694 has been postponed.

The closure is now set to take place June 10-13.

All eastbound lanes of Highway 36 will close from Highway 61 to Interstate 694 starting at 9 p.m. Friday, June 3 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 6.

I-694 can serve as an alternate route. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) says there will also be a posted detour route.

In addition, the left lane will close on westbound Highway 36 between White Bear Avenue and Bruce Vento Trail from 9 p.m. Friday, June 3 through 5 a.m., Monday, June 6.

A 12-mile stretch of Highway 36 between Edgerton Street in Ramsey County and Greely Street in Washington County will see on-and-off closures as crew work on road resurfacing, updating pedestrian accessibility and upgrading drainage.
