Vigil to be held Friday for 6-year-old found dead in vehicle trunk

Mound community members will be gathering Friday evening to mourn a six-year-old boy who was found dead during a traffic stop one week ago.
Julissa Thaler, the mother of Eli Hart, is charged with second-degree intentional murder in Hart’s death.
As previously reported by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS, documents say she shot him up to nine times.

Thaler is being held in Hennepin County Jail on a $2 million bail. She is expected back in court in late June.
Friday’s vigil is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. outside the Westonka Library in Mound.
