Some flight delays as crowds fill MSP after Thanksgiving weekend

Despite being one of the busiest travel days of the year, the majority of flights are running smoothly, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS reporter Andrea Lyon affirms Sunday morning from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

Crowds already filled MSP by around 4 a.m., but as of 8 a.m., only five flights have been delayed and one international flight has been canceled.

As for driving conditions, meteorologist Mace Michaels says skies should be cloudy or clear on Sunday.

Wind speeds are projected between 6-12 mph north/northwest, and by Sunday evening, temperatures are expected to drop to around 25 degrees.
