Last week, 28-year-old Gabriel Young-Duncan of St. Paul was sentenced to more than three years in prison for his role in illegally buying dozens of guns, one of which was used in the shooting.

Meanwhile, Terry Lorenzo Brown is charged with one count of intentional second-degree murder as well as 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder.

His trial is scheduled to begin in January of 2023.

Another man, Devondre Trevon Phillips, is charged with 12 counts of attempted second-degree murder. His trial is scheduled to begin next month.

As reported last week, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced his office has filed a lawsuit against multiple Fleet Farm locations, which he claims have “aided and abetted criminals and contributed to gun trafficking in Minnesota.” The lawsuit mentions specific guns used in the Truck Park Bar shooting, alleging the business sold guns to suspected straw-purchaser Jerome Horton, Jr.

In a criminal complaint, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) say Jerome Fletcher Horton, Jr. bought nearly three dozen handguns from stores across the metro. One of those handguns, a Mossberg 9 mm semi-automatic, was recovered shortly after at the Truck Park Bar.
