Portions of Hwy 55, Hwy 316, Olson Memorial to close until mid-October

Sections of three highways around the metro are expected to close Tuesday through mid-October, according to Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) releases.

Highway 55 is closed in both directions near Rosemount, between County Road 42 and Highway 52. Lanes are expected to reopen sometime in early October, MnDOT says.

Northbound Highway 316 in Hastings is closed between 33rd Street and Highway 61 until sometime in October. MnDOT advises drivers to use signed detours near Spiral Boulevard and south of 33rd Street. All other traffic can bypass construction using Highway 61.

Olson Memorial Highway in north Minneapolis is closed in both directions between Van White Memorial Boulevard and West Lyndale Avenue. MnDOT crews will also close the service road south of the highway, between Van White Memorial Boulevard and Bryant Avenue. Both closures are expected to last through mid-October.
