New Video Adds to Gay Marriage Debate Among Catholics
A new video is renewing debate among Catholic gays and lesbians about gay marriage.
The video, called "Catholics for Marriage Equality," features several couples - gay, lesbian and straight - denouncing efforts to ban same sex marriage.
Minnesotans are set to vote next fall on a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage.
The video comes in response to a video sent to 400,000 Catholics by the Archdiocese last spring supporting the proposed ban.
The group behind the video has no formal affiliation with the Archdiocese, church officials said Thursday.
