I guess we deserve this because of what we had to endure in October!  The unusually mild November will continue through the weekend, but then it looks like it's going to come to an abrupt end next week.  Mostly sunny skies are expected on Saturday with highs in the lower 50s, with clouds and a few showers holding temperatures in the upper 40s on Sunday.  Make sure you check out the 'NEW' interactive radar map.  Just click on the weather radar tab on the weather window above!  Left-click on the 'minus' sign on the left-hand side of the radar to zoom out and get a view anywhere in the country or left-click on the 'plus' sign to zoom into your own neighborhood.  Left-click and drag the radar view to focus on the area that's most important to you!  You can animate the precipitation, clouds, or fronts, and check out weather warnings anywhere in the country!
The Outlook
Rain showers will change to snow late Monday as colder air rolls in.  Highs on Monday will still be in the lower 40s but then slip into the 30s for the rest of the week.  A reinforcing shot of cold air and snow will push in Tuesday and Wednesday, which could mean even a few snow flurries left over for Thanksgiving Day.  The cold air that's been bottled up in Northwestern Canada and over Alaska is becoming pretty impressive.  Small pieces of that icy chunk will break off over the next week to 10 days with signs of an Arctic plunge hitting us in early December.  If you're traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday, please check out the latest forecast because it looks like there could be a few delays developing next week.
