Girl Paralyzed in Shooting Needs Help Finding Accessible Home

A 13-year-old Minneapolis girl shot during a drive-by shooting last November needs help so she can go home.

Guadalupe Galeno-Hernandez is now paralyzed.

Doctors say she's well enough to go home, her family can't find accessible housing that meets their budget.

We want to keep her in south Minneapolis, says Pedro Bustamante of Minneapolis MAD DADS. That's one of the areas she wants to stay in because that's where she goes to school. She's excited about leaving the hospital because she wants to go back to school.

She can't leave the hospital until there's a house or apartment for her to go home to.
